The Moon only seems bright against the dark night sky.
The Moon only reflects about ten percent of the sunlight falling on it!
Can you imagine how bright the Moon would look if it was the planet Venus?
(Venus is four times larger than the Moon and reflects about two-thirds of the sunlight falling on it!)
